after a while i became convinced that the words were mocking me
Nothing happened.
I WAS PROMISED A BATTLE
*throws down gauntlet*
Edit: Went back. This is the best thing to happen to my dashboard ever.
Reblogging again because my followers need to see this. To be clear, rebog, go to your actual blog, then click the picture.

OH MY GOD I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT
DO IT
WOW IT REALLY IS SOMETHING FREAKING GOOD PLEASE CHECK IT OUT
Okay, if this is a rickroll I swear to…
1) It was not a rickroll
2) It was super awesome!
3) No jumpscare or anything designed to freak you out, so doesn’t need an unreality warning (YMMV, of course).
Suspicious but curious. Curiosity wins!
attention all writers following me- try this or you will lament.
EVERYONE TRY THIS (you gotta go to your on blog to click on it!)
OK THIS IS THE COOLEST
MY WRIST IS ACHING
for those of us that aren’t as trusting as the others, the link is to an educational typing skills game, where you have to type out the words to shoot them down before they can reach the spaceship. Very fun, would definitely recommend
Now everyone prep for the inevitable re-try in a few months or a year
Know this, the House will not vote on this. The only way the House will vote is if the Republicans and Paul Ryan no longer hold majority in the House. They ONLY WAY THAT HAPPENS is if they are voted out in November. The earliest we can repeal the FCC ruling is in January 2019. Get registered. Go vote.
^^^ This. Read the fine print. This is a victory but the war is far from over. REGISTER TO VOTE. get your friends registered. Vote in November. It’s the only way.
THIS IS WONDERFUL, SERIOUSLY WONDERFUL
and it’s also not over.
They’ve been trying this shit for years. They will try again. They WILL try again. And, as stated above, their chances are better the stronger the hold the GOP has on Congress.
Let this victory be a refreshing reminder that we are not completely without power. We can still change things.
We put up a good fight…but now we only have 60 days to turn this around. There is still ONE thing we can all do!!!!!
There’s something called the Congressional Review Act (CRA) that can be used to stop the FCC. We just need ONE MORE VOTE to win the Senate!!!
For those who missed my last giant post a few months ago, last year, the FCC voted to repeal the Obama regulations designed to protect a fair and open internet. If these regulations are knocked down, providers like Comcast, AT&T, and Verizonwill have EVERY RIGHT to slow down internet speeds to those who aren’t on their more expensive plans. Even further, they have the power to censor and regulate what we see online. MORE further, they’d even have the power to slow down competitors’ streaming speeds, like Netflix, to make their own services more appealing. THIS SHIT IS NOT RIGHT!!!!!
First thing you can do is to GET OFF YOUR ASS (OR ON IT IF YOU’RE AT A COMPUTER…) and take 20 seconds to sign this!!!! Second thing is to SHARE THIS CAMPAIGN WITH EVERYONE!!!
There’s going to be a huge protest on Feb 27th that I’ll be taking part in. The above link goes into detail on what YOU can do on that day. Please guys. Don’t just sit there and let this happen. THIS IS OUR LAST CHANCE! THIS IS OUR INTERNET!!!! NOW FUCKING DO SOMETHING!!!!
Just voted now! TAKES ONLY 5 SECONDS, SAVE NET NEUTRALITY! Please!
One thing I’ve noticed about this thing is that a lot of people think “oh since this is really important, lots of people will be doing this, so I’m not going to bother.”
PLEASE BOTHER!!!!! MINDSETS LIKE THIS CAN AND WILL STAND IN THE WAY OF WINNING BACK OUR RIGHTS!!!!!!!!
Yeah, no, I’m cross-tagging because the lack of attention this is getting overall is pissing me off.
Ajit Pai killed Net Neutrality. You’ll start seeing the effects you were warned about on April 23rd. Oh, and he apparently got an award for Courage from the NRA gun nuts, too.
You can still help by calling your senators and representatives. We just need ONE MORE PERSON on our side to get the senate portion of Congress to overrule the FCC’s decision to kill net neutrality. The battle for the net won’t end there, but it’s a start. Go to battleforthenet to find out who your reps are and where they stand, and CONTACT THEM.
Twenty-three states are also suing the FCC for this. I haven’t looked into it yet, but I assume big businesses like Google and Amazon are as well. Nevertheless, we can’t rely on lengthy lawsuits alone. The changes to your internet start in less than two months. We don’t have a whole lot of time.
Blow this up. Contact your reps. Please, do something! We HAVE to get the decision overruled!
